When should a mandal book Ganpati security?
By mid-July. Large mandals and societies are staffed first and September bookings get whatever is left of the reserve pool.
Do you cover the visarjan day?
Yes. Visarjan day is staffed separately with a procession escort team and ghat-side guards, as it needs more men than a normal darshan day.
Can you guard a society pandal only at night?
Yes. Many societies take a 12-hour night guard for the pandal and idol for the full festival period.
